Terms for participation in matches and use of Stack5.

Account and age
Participation requires your own account and a minimum age of 16. Keep sessions, passwords, sign-in codes, and temporary game credentials private.
Game identity
SteamID64 is accepted only after verified Steam sign-in. A game nickname must not impersonate another person or contain threats, harassment, or prohibited content.
The roles of Stack5 and the club
Stack5 helps players gather for a match, select a club, form rosters and, where a managed match is available, receive a verified result. The computer club independently sets its PC-use prices and conditions and provides services at its venue. Selecting a club in Stack5 does not book a PC, confirm availability or guarantee a price.
Mix and team matches
Any eligible player may create a Mix; teams may arrange a match against one another when roster requirements are met. The captain selects a club at the applicable stage. Subject to roster and match-start requirements, a managed Stack5 Play/QR match can be played at the chosen catalogued club regardless of its verification status; that status affects rating and reward credit, not the ability to play. A new club must first be added to the directory. Players check the club's terms before using its services. Creating a lobby or selecting a club alone does not commit the player to pay Stack5.
Seasons and League
Season events may be run by a verified club or its authorized organizer. The club sets the terms for Season participation and PC use; recording interest in the app alone does not commit a player to pay an undisclosed amount. Applicable club terms must be disclosed before paid participation. If a post-Season finalists' League is opened, participation in the League itself is free; the venue and other conditions are published for the specific event. The current Stack5 release does not publish prize-bearing tournaments or Seasons.
No prize-bearing events
Stack5 does not currently open registration for tournaments with cash or other prizes and does not calculate prize pools. This restriction does not apply to fixed S5 Points store rewards, which are not tournament prizes.
Statistics, rating and Points
Not every match earns aggregate competitive profile statistics, S5 Rating or S5 Points. These are credited only to eligible participants in a managed match at a Stack5-verified club with one-time confirmation from that club's owner or manager before match start and a verified game report. A real reported match at an unverified club or without pre-match club confirmation may still show team score and individual K/D/A on that match, but it does not add to aggregate profile statistics, rating, Points or reward progress. Selecting a club on the map, signing in by QR, entering a manual score, playing a test match or merely being in a lobby does not prove eligibility. Points are not money; available rewards and request conditions are shown separately in the store.
Community rules and safety
Threats, harassment, hate speech, illegal or sexually explicit content, others' private data, spam and malicious links are prohibited in nicknames, chats, images and other materials. Cheating, bypassing restrictions, match fixing, false venue claims and replayed results are also prohibited. Stack5 may hide material, limit access while a report is reviewed and correct an erroneous result using verifiable evidence.
Materials and reports
By uploading an avatar, photo or logo, you confirm that you have the right to use it and to permit Stack5 to store and display it as needed to operate the service. This is not a transfer of all rights to the material. Do not upload another person's photos, logos or other materials without the necessary permission. Profiles, messages and materials can be reported, users can be blocked, and reports can be sent to support@stack5.org. We aim to provide a first response within 24 hours.
Privacy and consents
The Privacy Policy is available separately via the link below and in the app. Consent to publish additional photos and game moments is requested separately and is not required for core features.
Results and availability
Results follow the authoritative match state. The service may be temporarily unavailable; material errors are handled through support@stack5.org.
Changes
The current terms version is stack5-terms-2026-09-24. Stack5 will request renewed consent after a material update.
